500° is looking for an Art Director to join our Miami, FL creative team. As the Art Director , you will be integral to shaping the visual identity of our big-brand, industry-leading clients. This role involves developing and executing merchandising, marketing, and promotional communications, working closely with copywriters, designers, and clients. The ideal candidate is a hands-on designer, ensuring that every project meets the highest creative standards while staying within deadlines and budget constraints.This is an exciting opportunity that will sit on-site, 4-days a week, at one of our client’s offices, supporting art direction and design for their internal marketing communications team.What You'll Do : Provide creative direction and thought leadership to the design team; Conceptualize and oversee the development of visual elements that convey the desired message and meet client objectivesOversee multiple projects at once, ensuring deadlines are met and the creative vision is maintained throughout the projectKeep in touch and recognize market trends, customer-centric design, and the competitive landscapePresent creative concepts to clients with confidence and clarity, effectively communicating the design decisions and addressing client feedbackWill work off of client creative briefs to come up with new design concepts and strategies; expected to look beyond the brief when necessary to independently problem-solveEnsure brand consistency across all design deliverables, adhering to brand guidelines and maintaining agency quality standardsUtilize strategic insights to inform creative concepts and translate into visual designCollaborate and communicate design concepts with the internal creative team to build a culture of innovation, excellence, and accountabilityReview all key project deliverables and all creative briefs to ensure correct level of project aspiration and accountabilityDevelop creative ideas, concepts, campaigns, and insights that will drive exceptional workProvide guidance and mentorship to junior members of the creative team, fostering a positive and collaborative team environmentExecute design work as neededWhat You'll Need : Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field preferred; and / or equivalent work experience6 years of experience within an advertising / marketing agency environmentStrong knowledge of Adobe CS and Keynote (you’ll be creating presentations)Strong influence on the creative processA deep understanding of the shopper mindset and path-to-purchase across multiple advertising channelsMust have a portfolio of projects across print and digitalMust possess a mastery of typography, color, shape, and designKnowledge of the production process, including proofingStrong presentation skills; Must have direct client experienceAbility to multi-task and move quickly if neededQSR / food photography experience is a huge plusIllustration, animation, motion graphic, or video creation skills are a strong plus#J-18808-Ljbffr
