API Inspector (510/570/653)

We are seeking an experienced API 510/570/653 Inspector for a full time nested inspection position in St. James, LA. This role will perform duties associated with NDE of materials in accordance to referencing code. Non-exempt role; Reports to a Level 2 Inspector; Close Supervision assigned duties according to specific procedures / work is checked frequently.

• No per diem, must be local candidate
• Schedule: 4-10's with the possibility of OT as needed

Essential Qualifications:

• Must have valid drivers license
• Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must have IDMS - Meridian experience
• Must have RBI experience
• Must be well rounded with experience in the chemical industry
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test
• Must possess excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and problem solving skills
• Post-offer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation
• Job site safety requirements as required by the client (clean shaven, long sleeves, steel toe boots, etc.)
• Safety equipment as required by the client (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, respirator, hearing protection, safety harness with lanyard, etc.)
• Applicant/employee must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of such individual or others in the work place

Functional Requirements:

• Assists in performing duties associated with NDE of materials in accordance with reference code.
• Assist with nondestructive testing equipment set-up.
• Assist in calibrating nondestructive testing equipment.
• Assist in applying testing criteria in accordance with procedures and standards.
• Assist in performing other job-related tasks as assigned by certified inspector/technician.
• Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction.

Compensation

Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.

Physical Involvement:
