We are seeking a Dump Truck Driver for a maintenance position in Jackson, AL. The CDL Truck Driver operates various trucks/tractors which are used to move equipment or other materials. Non-exempt role; Report to a Foreman; Performs a variety of routine duties within established policies. The CDL Driver will work 12 hour rotating shifts, day and night. CDL required to operate Dump Truck and other heavy equipment.
Essential Qualifications
Read and sign off on JSA prior to starting shift; moves hand and foot levers to control operating equipment; interprets hand signals to determine where materials are to be placed; inspect each load before pulling it to assure it will be safe in transit; may be required to manipulate equipment on un-level working surfaces; performs daily inspection such as checking oil, fluids, and tire pressure; reports any unsatisfactory findings to the foreman; observes speed limit posted and yields to pedestrians; maintains a clean and safe work environment at all times; perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction

Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.

- Preferably one (1) to four (4) years of experience in specified skill
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required
- Pre-employment qualification test/federal written driving test
- Post offer drug / alcohol screen, physical evaluation, and signed acceptance of the Turner Industries Drug, Alcohol and Contraband Policy
- Comply with company and client job site safety requirements
- Must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of others in the workplace
