We are seeking a Contracts Analyst to join our Contracts team in Baton Rouge, LA. The contract analyst will review, administer, and analyze project specific contracts and subcontracts for field/site work, including processing subcontract agreements, qualifying vendors through internal due diligence process, uploading and maintaining contracts, and subcontracts, including maintaining a vendor documentation database, supplying subcontract information to and assisting various divisions, routing approvals, data entry to internal accounting system for payments, and working in tandem with Contracts Administrators related to prime agreements, HR, A/P and Procurement Departments as necessary. Reports to the Director of Contracts. Paralegal or Legal Assistant experience a plus.
Essential Qualifications
Duties include contract preparation, identifying contractual obligations and risk factors, including drafting, negotiating, analyzing, reviewing and redlining documents and ensuring compliance with legal and company policies. Interact with home office and on-site management during pre-award and post-award phases regarding contractual issues, including administration of changes to contracts. Assist General Counsel or Assistant General Counsel with gathering discovery requests to support mediation/litigation. Subcontract preparation, identifying areas of review for subcontractor obligations, including analyzing, reviewing and redlining documents and the ability to potentially negotiate terms and conditions. Gathers, coordinates, and reports relevant information for review and vendor compliance related to the contract or subcontracts. Interact with home office and on-site management regarding subcontract issues, and pertinent subcontract backup documentation. Assist site contracts /subcontract/procurement administrators with project specific reporting requirements related to agreement requests as necessary. Assist project team with all general subcontract questions, acting as a liaison with the proper contact for each issue; Request annual health and safety, insurance and other vendor documentation from subcontractors to maintain updated vendor files; Request and maintain updated files for applicable prime agreements; Process subcontracts to finalization including routing for signature, and uploading; Upload and maintain contract/subcontract documents in online database and system for the company. Performs additional assignments as requested.

Essential Qualifications
- Minimum eight (8) years of experience or equivalent combinations of experience and training related to industry agreements, and understanding basic contract terminology;
- Must have working knowledge of all applicable computer and software programs and platforms in which contracts are digitally transmitted;
- Required to have knowledge of computer software such as Excel, Word, Windows and other various software (JDE accounting software a plus);
- Must possess excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and problem-solving skills;
- Must be self-directed and detail orientated; Must be able to organize and prioritize workload, adapt quickly to change, and deliver under the pressure of deadlines;
