We are seeking a highly skilled, motivated, and experienced Turnaround Instrument and Electrical Planner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of mechanical planning and scheduling for plant shutdowns and turnarounds. Expertise in SAP is essential for managing work orders and material requirements.
Essential Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Instrumentation and Electrical Planner or in a similar role, specifically in turnarounds or plant maintenance
- Proficiency in SAP for managing work orders, planning, and material procurement
- In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment, and maintenance processes
- Excellent planning and organizational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across teams and with various stakeholders
- Ability to analyze problems and implement effective solutions quickly
- Familiarity with turnaround safety and compliance standards
- Familiarity with Mechanical activities and be able to plan or work with Mechanical planner to complete the job plan
- SAP PM (Plant Maintenance) Experience preferred
- Experience in a similar industry (e.g., oil & gas, manufacturing, utilities) preferred
- Previous experience in planning large-scale turnaround events preferred
Functional Requirements:
Review specifications, drawings, etc. to determine scope of work required contents of estimate; prepare estimates by calculating complete takeoff of scope of work, material, outside services and sub-contractors; review and incorporate historical data into a number of resources and man-hours estimates; estimate extras, change orders, and discovery work items; maintain files of working documents and backup estimate figures; develop and maintain detailed Instrumentation and Electrical turnaround work plans and timelines; work closely with the I/E maintenance, operations, and procurement teams to ensure all tasks are planned effectively and efficiently; utilize SAP to manage work orders, materials, and ensure seamless integration of planning and execution activities; review and ensure accuracy of I/E equipment data, ensuring that spare parts and tools are identified and available prior to work execution; coordinate with stakeholders to ensure the safe execution of turnaround activities, managing constraints such as resources, safety, and timelines; perform risk assessments and ensure all turnaround activities comply with safety and environmental regulations; assist in the preparation of the overall turnaround budget and help control costs
