THIS JOB IS AT THE PORT ALLEN PIPE FABRICATION FACILITY IN PORT ALLEN, LA
WORK SCHEDULD: Monday-Friday 7:30 am - 5:30 pm and Saturdays as needed
Job Description: Works Under the direction of the QC Supervisor at the Port Allen Pipe Fabrication Facility
Functional Requirements: Essential administrative job that requires accuracy, speed and competency. Employee will be responsible for keying in and/or scanning sensitive company documents as well as performing other office administrative functions. Must possess proficient typing ability, business software knowledge, organizational skills, multi-tasking, excellent proofreading, and the willingness to perform a wide variety of administrative functions as required by your supervisor. Experience working with office equipment such as copiers, computers, and printers are expected. Ability to juggle multiple projects while meeting deadlines are vital.
Qualification Standards:
High School Diploma or GED
Quality Control and document control experience in a Pipe Fabrication setting preferred
1 year office experience preferred.
Must possess excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational skills.
Must be self-directed and detail oriented.
Must be able to organize workload, adapt quickly to change, and deliver under the pressure of deadlines.

Work Environment Factors:
Location: Office area at fabrication facility
Mobility Barriers to Access Job Site: uneven ground levels; obstructed pathways
Climatic/Environmental Conditions at Job Site: predominately indoor climate; various noise levels caused by tools, machinery, equipment etc.
Miscellaneous Requirements:
There will be times that the individual may be required to perform a task other than their normal operation as required by the company or management, owing to the job demand.
