Job Description
Environmental Laboratory in Tucson seeks a highly motivated Project Manager to assist clients through all phases of laboratory operations, including project set-up and maintenance, communication of analytical issues, report review and generation and invoicing. The Project Manager also helps to support the Sample Management Technician and Field Sampler.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Project set-up and maintenance
Timely and thorough communication with clients regarding any analytical needs or analytical challenges that need to be addressed.
Verifies that lab compound lists and limits meet project requirements for new quotes.
Reviews sample receiving forms, reports, ADEQ State Forms and invoices for accuracy prior to release to the clients.
Assists in pricing and generating quotations for clients.
Effectively communicates with the laboratory staff regarding clients’ needs and any issues that arise.
Qualifications:
B.S. / B.A. in Chemistry, Biology, or another related field
Knowledge of Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)
Minimum of two years of experience in an Environmental Laboratory preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $35.00 per hour
