As a key member of our team at Turner Mining Group, we are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator and Site Assistant to join our crew. This role will involve operating various heavy equipment such as end dump trucks, center dump truck units, and water trucks while assisting in site survey and staking.
Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently, including directional flagging of traffic, stormwater BMP installation, demo, install and repair fencing.
- Drive special purpose vehicles and perform pre-shift inspections, basic maintenance, and upkeep.
- Work collaboratively with teammates to maximize production while adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
Requirements:
- A strong focus on safety, being aware of one's surroundings at all times.
- A proven work ethic and willingness to learn.
- The ability to adapt and be flexible in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with heavy equipment and preferred MSHA training.
