Heavy Equipment Technician
We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Technician to join our team at Turner Mining Group. As a Heavy Equipment Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment and machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment and machinery
- Diagnose and troubleshoot fuel systems, electrical systems, hydraulic systems, and propane systems
- Conduct oil changes, lubrication of equipment, tire replacements, hose repairs, battery replacements, and assorted services
- Recondition and replace parts of heavy equipment
- Operate and test equipment
- Diagnose problem areas for any significant wear or tear on the equipment
- Produce detailed service reports and repair logs
- Follow all established procedures and protocols
- Build positive relationships with internal and external teams
Requirements:
- Heavy Equipment Technician certification or equivalent experience
- Strong knowledge of heavy equipment and machinery
- Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
