Your Role
As a CARES Teacher, you will:
- Develop and implement individualized academic plans that meet students’ diverse needs.
- Foster a supportive classroom environment that encourages growth, confidence, and social-emotional regulation.
- Collaborate closely with behavior specialists and social workers to integrate trauma-informed practices and behavioral strategies
- Inspire a love of learning and help students navigate challenges to achieve success.
- Certified VT K-6 Teacher (or eligible for licensure)
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- A passion for meeting the needs of diverse learners
- Ability to work as part of a collaborative, interdisciplinary team
