Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Long-Term Substitute Teacher to join our high school mathematics department for approximately 12 weeks in the Fall of 2025. The ideal candidate will be licensed or eligible for licensure in Grades 7-12 Mathematics in the state of Vermont.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality mathematics instruction to students in alignment with curriculum standards.
- Implement proficiency based lessons and assessments to meet student learning needs.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues, including fellow math teachers and support staff.
- Maintain open communication with students, parents, and school administration.
- Valid Vermont teaching license in Grades 7-12 Mathematics, or eligibility for licensure.
- Previous teaching experience preferred but not required.
- Strong classroom management and instructional skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Supportive and experienced mathematics department.
