Tim Short Ford of LaFollette is searching for highly driven and professional ASE or FORD certified Automotive Technicians to join our team!
Pay DOE
Responsibilities :
Inspect vehicle and diagnose any issues.
Operate a diagnostic scanner.
Overlay wires.
Perform quality repair / maintenance work that meets dealership and manufacturer standards including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning, etc.
Provide an estimate of time and parts needed for repair / maintenance.
Learn new technical information and techniques in training sessions to stay current with rapidly changing technology.
Keep shop neat.
Other duties may be assigned according to skill level and certification.
Qualifications :
Experience as a technician in a dealership service department or equivalent mechanics shop- REQUIRED.
ASE Certified or FORD certified- required.
Must be able to operate a diagnostic scanner.
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
Good work ethic with problem-solving skills.
A positive attitude and works well as part of a team.
Natural ability to connect with customers and build relationships.
Friendly and outgoing personality.
Excellent communication skills both verbally and written.
Stellar follow-up ability.
Strong attendance record and punctual.
Must have clean background record.
