We’re seeking a motivated and experienced Operations Manager to oversee warehouse operations and partner with the Store Manager to lead and inspire our team. Key Responsibilities:
- Directly manage a warehouse team of approximately 4-5 employees.
- Oversee delivery processes, including loading, unloading, and driving delivery trucks.
- Provide actionable feedback to improve delivery efficiency and proficiency.
- Ensure inventory accuracy through regular aged and store inventory counts.
- Repair or touch up damaged inventory as required.
- Collaborate with the Store Manager and visual display team to position and maintain the showroom floor.
- Maintain store presentation standards, both inside and outside, to meet company expectations.
- Implement corporate programs and initiatives effectively.
- Train and coach team members to reduce product damage and accidents.
- Serve as the acting leader for opening operations in the absence of the Store Manager.
- Assist with daily bank deposits as needed.
- Support in-store HR processes, including staffing, training, and addressing performance concerns.
Requirements:
- Education: High School diploma or GED equivalency certificate.
- Licensing: Valid Driver’s License with a minimum of 6 years driving history and a clear, safe driving record.
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience in a retail or service-related business involving customer service, plus proven management and problem-resolution expertise.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
- Capability to assist with a variety of customer service challenges objectively and professionally.
- Physical ability to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds, and meet the physical demands of the role.
Job Type: Full-time
Expected hours: 38 – 45 per week
