Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Daycare Teacher to join our team. The Daycare Teacher will work closely with parents and other staff members to promote a positive learning experience.
Duties
- Assist in the develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote childhood development and learning.
- Supervise and engage with children in activities that encourage social, emotional, and cognitive growth.
- Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment while adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Provide care for infants and toddlers, ensuring their physical needs are met.
- Utilize effective classroom management techniques to maintain a positive learning atmosphere.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
- Assist children with daily routines such as meals, naps, and hygiene practices.
- Support children with disabilities by adapting activities to meet individual needs.
- Stay updated on first aid practices to ensure the safety of all children.
Qualifications
- Experience working in a preschool or daycare setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles is essential.
- High School Diploma.
- First aid certification is a plus.
- Experience in infant care and toddler care is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
- Previous babysitting or experience working with students in an educational capacity is beneficial.
- A genuine love for working with children and helping them grow is essential.
