Position Description: Provide financial support to headquarters departments. Duties may include any specific accounting functions, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Reconciliation, Reporting, Treasury, and Financial Planning & Analysis.
Reports to: Accountant or Director
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist with reconciliation process.
- Maintain documents in established filing system.
- General ledger journal entries, recording and reconciling cash activity, unclaimed property reporting, joint venture consolidation.
- Vendor set-up and validation assistance, and processing accounts payable transactions.
- Process applications and cash receipts, banking, monthly close activities, and processing accounts receivable transactions.
- Intercompany charges, fixed assets, sales & use tax, property, plant and equipment (PP&E), and maintenance of general ledger transactions.
- Support accounting team in preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports.
- Assist treasury team in bank reconciliation, daily cash position reporting and other treasury processes.
- Provide analytic support to FP&A team in preparation of periodic reports, forecasts and special projects.
- Relate and apply knowledge acquired in academic setting to company setting.
- Provide supervisor with periodic progress reports.
- Adhere to company work hours, policies, procedures and rules governing professional staff behavior.
- Maintain professional relationships with company employees, customers and so forth.
- Prepare for and participate in conferences and other opportunities of learning afforded in company.
- Other activities, duties, and responsibilities as assigned.
