Develop and lead strategic sourcing of mechanical and electrical equipment and architectural materials globally for construction projects. Lead teams responsible for vendor identification, pre-qualification, and relationship management to support global procurement strategies that leverage scale and reduce costs.
Essential Duties &Key Responsibilities:
Ownership and oversight of supply chain category management programs and vendor strategies.
Establish and strengthen direct personal C-suite level executive relationships with key vendors.
Lead preconstruction strategies for equipment and material design selections, leveraging market trends and manufacture strengths and capacities to maximize project success.
Leverage SourceBlue’s parent company’s, ACS Group, global industry position to provide supply chain advantages to clients and develop new opportunities within portfolio.
Strengthen and expand the SourceBlue global portfolio of pre-qualified vendors.
Negotiate Master Service Agreements and maintain preferential terms with key vendors. Serve as escalation point for teams managing negotiations of terms.
Establish vendor performance metrics and provide growth solutions using key data points.
Analyze market trends, assess risks, and implement best practices to create a resilient and responsive supply chain.
Oversee vendor performance scorecard programs, anticipate and develop solutions to address concerns, gaps, and opportunities.
Serve as the subject matter expertise on global construction industry supply chain developments.
Lead long-term planning and development of supply chain initiatives to support the company’s business objectives and drive maximum benefit for ACS Group and SourceBlue clients.
Ensure progressive software solutions are in place and developed to optimize data management on procurement spends.
Use data to leverage overall group purchasing power and realize price advantages globally.
Lead factory shadow loading and demand planning activities across core equipment categories.
Implement strategies to secure SourceBlue competitive advantages with vendors.
Manage team of product and vendor experts to support technical sales across the business.
Lead by example and develop team of professionals; provide professional development opportunities and engage in coaching and mentoring relationships to instill deep knowledge and capabilities in Procurement. Foster teamwork, open communication, and collaboration across department.
