What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time Truck Driver position at Turners Outdoorsman?
Turner’s Outdoorsman, California's leading hunting, fishing, and outdoor sporting goods store, is looking for a reliable and dedicated Part-Time Truck Driver. This position involves transporting goods between our Sacramento locations and Redding, ensuring safe and timely deliveries two days a week. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Safely operate a company vehicle on scheduled delivery routes from Sacramento to Redding.
- Ensure timely and accurate deliveries of merchandise to our locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
- Load and unload products with attention to care and safety.
- Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1 years of truck driving experience preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Strong time management skills and reliability.
- Familiarity with the Sacramento and Redding regions is a plus.
- Legally eligible to work in a firearms environment.
- Must be 18 years or older
- Knowledge about Hunting, Fishing/Tackle, & Shooting Sports is a plus.
