Position Overview
Turning Corners, Inc. is seeking dedicated and compassionate Bachelor’s and Master’s level providers to join our Therapeutic Support for Families (TSF) team. TSF providers deliver psycho-educational, therapeutic, and supportive services to youth and their families who are eligible for services through the Division of Prevention and Behavioral Health Services (DPBHS).
TSF services are designed to help families build skills, strengthen relationships, and apply effective strategies to real-life challenges, often alongside other treatment services. In some cases, TSF may be the primary or sole service provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individualized or group-based therapeutic support to youth and families
- Collaborate with treatment teams to ensure TSF goals are integrated into the youth and family's treatment plan
- Deliver services at times that accommodate family needs, including mornings, evenings, and bedtimes
- Plan and conduct structured outings and activities that allow youth and caregivers to practice skills with real-time coaching and support
- Develop and implement specific interventions and activities aligned with treatment goals
- Document services accurately, including frequency, interventions used, progress toward goals, and outcomes
- Maintain regular communication with caregivers, treatment teams, and supervisors regarding service delivery and family progress
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Human Services, or a related field
- Experience working with children, adolescents, and families preferred
- Ability to deliver services flexibly, including evenings and weekends as needed
- Strong skills in engagement, coaching, and psychoeducation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel to homes and community locations
- Commitment to cultural competence and sensitivity to diverse populations
Preferred Skills
- Experience with trauma-informed practices
- Knowledge of behavior management, parenting strategies, and therapeutic interventions
- Familiarity with the child welfare, behavioral health, or juvenile justice systems
