We provide support to individuals with developmental disabilities in a residential setting, aiming to help them enjoy a life that is rich and fulfilling.
Job Description:
- Train, supervise, and support individuals in various skill areas, ensuring quality support.
- Act as a primary liaison between assigned outside vendors, promoting individual inclusion within the community.
- Maintain individual daily schedules to include ADLs, financial, medical, and recreation.
- Ensure safety and well-being of all individuals and proper use of supplies/equipment, facilities, and vehicles.
- Clean and maintain the home, vehicles, and equipment.
- Be able to stay on shift if there is a call out and coverage is not found.
Requirements:
- Able to lift 50 pounds for assisting individuals with personal care needs and/or performing daily job duties.
- Able to twist, bend, and reach to address medical and behavioral incidents.
- Able to drive agency vehicle for a minimum of 30 minutes without stops.
- Able to successfully complete agency training, including CPR, First Aid, PMT, Medication Certification, etc.
