Position Overview :
This position will be responsible for guiding and documenting activities of daily living, caring for clients, helping coordinate treatment, executing daily programing, assisting counselors with crises management, group and education as needed.
The shift is 2 : 00pm - 10 : 30pm.
This role will encompass :
- Obtains direction and guidance from Turning Point Behavioral Health Executive Director and Licensed Addition Counselor(s).
- Collaborates with the Peaceful Pines Senior Living Executive Director and team members to ensure proper care and service is provided including medication administered, daily meal and snack service, maintenance and housekeeping.
- Supports and assists with the completion of day-to-day tasks and activities in accordance with applicable lesson plans, treatment goals, and objectives of the clients.
- Ensures a clean, safe, attractive, and functional environment for daily therapy sessions. Observes and assists with the implementation of group instructional activities. Responsible for assuring all clients are treated with dignity and respect.
- Monitors clients for signs and symptoms of abuse. Report incidents of suspected abuse or inappropriateness to appropriate staff and personnel immediately.
- Provides updates to Behavioral Health Technician(s) and supports Licensed Addiction Counselor(s) regarding activities, tasks and general observations to ensure exceptional care is provided 24 / 7.
- Adheres to all HIPAA and state regulations to ensure a quality environment where compliance and best practices are utilized.
- Welcomes potential clients upon arrival and handles scheduling for client needs. Is responsive to answering phone calls and communicating in a professional manner.
- Adherence to applicable insurance requirements, ethical standards, and policies and procedures of Turning Point Behavioral Health and HME Care Services. Consistently demonstrates a high level of integrity, communication, responsibility, accountability, and teamwork.
- Attends team meetings, events and seminars as required by Turning Point Behavioral Health.
- Will be required to complete a drug screen and background check.
