We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented HR and Administrative Assistant to join our team and support the day-to-day operations of our growing organization.
Position Overview:
As an HR and Administrative Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth operations across both human resources and administrative functions. This position requires someone who is organized, proactive, and passionate about supporting the mission of our nonprofit.
Responsibilities:
Key responsibilities include:
- Provide administrative support to the HR department, including scheduling interviews, preparing onboarding materials, and maintaining employee records.
- Assist with the recruitment process, including posting job ads, reviewing resumes, and coordinating interviews.
- Maintain and update personnel files.
- Support the day-to-day administrative needs of the office, including answering phones, managing correspondence, and handling scheduling.
- Assist with the preparation of reports, presentations, and other materials as needed.
- Handle general office supplies inventory and coordinate office events or meetings.
- Assist clinical staff with administrative processes as needed.
- Support other departments and projects as needed.
Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
Preferred - A degree in a human service field or working toward (e.g., Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Sociology).
Must be 21 years of age or older
Preferred - 2 years experience working directly with youth and families in a community-based setting.
2 Years working in an office environment.
Proficient use of Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
Experience with HR software or systems is a plus.
A strong commitment to the mission and values of the nonprofit sector.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a team player mentality.

Expected hours: 20 per week
