Using Dr. Jeremiah’s teaching, we capture, curate, and communicate Bible Strong content through the power of media to share the Gospel with theological and creative excellence. Dr. Jeremiah is committed to teaching the entirety of God’s Word to the world, and his teaching is delivered in multiple languages to approximately 3 billion people across the globe through Turning Point’s various media channels.

Position Summary:
As Turning Point’s part-time Production Assistant, you are a contributing and valuable Production team member reporting directly to the Production Manager. You will assist with day-to-day general production tasks, broadcast and digital video productions/shoots, pre-production planning, production operations, and logistics.
Personal Characteristics and Duties:

- You will assist with daily production department operations and tasks, including:
- Research and recommend equipment resourcing options for shoots and live productions.
- Arrange or conduct transportation of equipment and supplies.
- Assist during video/film shoots and live multi-camera events in the studio and on location.
- Assist with maintenance and organization of production facilities and equipment.
- Pre-Production:
- Assist the Production Team with planning and preparation for upcoming productions and projects.
- Help work through and confirm proof of concepts for productions, including new equipment or unique technical effects.
- Production:
- Assist with organizing and preparing video shoots by gathering and prepping technical equipment, location props, decor, etc.
- Assist in technical equipment setup/tear down on location, scene decoration, and prop staging.
- Work with the director of photography/camera operator and/or operate the camera depending on the project.
- Assist the lighting designer/director as gaffer/grip.
- Adapt and assist other production roles based on the needs of the current video shoot.
- Track shot lists and storyboards to ensure scene continuity is present and necessary scenes/shots are captured.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Experience with cross-team collaboration and working independently.
- Foundational knowledge of the production process and technical equipment.
- Skill and experience in handling multiple projects in a fast-paced, creative environment.
- Ability to learn new software and workflows quickly.
- MS Office Suite experience.
- Basic proficiency with production equipment (camera, sound, lighting, grip).
- Willing and capable of lifting/pushing/pulling equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
