POSITION SUMMARY:
TPRC is looking for dynamic and engaging Residential Technicians who will responsible for monitoring the health, welfare and behavior of persons residing in the Residential Treatment Facility and assisting residents in carrying out activities of daily living (ADL) within the structure of the residential program. ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
1. Supervises and trains residents in accomplishing their established treatment goals, including but not limited to, activities of daily living (ADL,) money management, personal relationships, vocational, educational or leisure activities, etc.
2. Monitors and records medications taken by residents in accordance with their prescribed treatment plan and rules of the facility and program.
3. Facilitates skill building groups to assist residents in learning the skills necessary to be successful in returning to an independent living environment in the community.
4. Care Coordination Support: Provide peer support services as recommended by the primary Care Coordinator and indicated by client’s progress toward treatment goals.
5. Crisis Management: Assist clients in distress, guiding toward emotional regulation and stabilization and care coordination when indicated.
6. Documentation, Electronic Health Records (EHR): Complete and document client progress in the EHR as defined by agency Policies and Procedures.
7. Other peer related duties as assigned
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
· CPR Certification preferred
· Minimum of two years of recovery-related experience
· Minimum of two years of sobriety
· High school diploma or equivalent
DESIRED SKILLS:
- High level of charisma, punctuality, reliability, and integrity.
- High level of emotional and social intelligence.
- Interest in the treatment of chemical dependency
- Able to meet the physical and mental requirements of the job.
Knowledge of Microsoft office suite; Microsoft word; Microsoft excel and internet software and EMR. Use/storage/maintenance of multiple usernames and passwords. Use of Chrome (electronic file-handling). A record of satisfactory performance in all prior and current employment as evidenced by positive employment references from previous and current employers.
