What are the responsibilities and job description for the Controller position at Turning Point Strategic Advisors?
Turning Point is proud to partner with our client, a leading general contractor in the construction industry, to search for a highly functioning financial leader to take on the role of Controller with the potential for CFO level contributions. This is a critical leadership opportunity for a high-performing accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. The successful candidate will not only oversee core accounting operations and ensure regulatory compliance, but also serve as a key business partner to executive leadership, helping drive decisions that support expansion into new markets.
We’re seeking someone with the ability to lead and develop a high-performing accounting team, while also working cross-functionally to educate and hold non-financial stakeholders — such as project managers — accountable to budgetary and operational goals. Experience in construction or general contractor accounting is preferred, but more important is the ability to influence across departments, communicate financial implications with clarity, and act as a trusted advisor within a growing and evolving organization.
