What does a Live Events Production Manager do?
- Work collaboratively with a team of Entertainment and Events professionals, providing ongoing instruction and supervision of entertainment technicians, riggers, and production teams through coaching, training, and development opportunities, including oversight of safety and compliance protocols.
- Manage costs and budgets as assigned for respective areas while monitoring efficiencies of show and event operations.
- Coordinate with the Entertainment Operations Manager to support entertainment productions across the enterprise, always seeking to elevate the guest and performer experience.
Key attributes we're seeking as a Live Events Production Manager are:
- Deep knowledge of show operations including rigging, sound, lighting, video, scenic installations, and crew set-up and take-down requirements.
- At least 6 or more years of relevant experience in theatrical entertainment, production, or stage management positions, preferably in the hospitality, casino, or cruise line industry, including various venue sizes.
- Demonstrated ability to orchestrate multi-disciplined events, show design, and concerts while managing budgets.
