What does a Carpenter do?
- Always takes the appropriate steps to properly refinish various types of damaged furniture in a timely manner.
- Performs the fabrication, repair, installation and refinishing of cabinets, furniture, doors and wall panels.
- Correctly installs all types of laminates and solid surfaces.
To be successful as a Carpenter, you'll need:
- a valid NYS driver’s license; required.
- a High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma; required.
- 3 – 5 years’ experience in prior carpentry work preferred
- Must be able to stand/walk for long periods of time and lift up to 41 - 50
