This part-time position follows a unique rotating schedule, working Monday through Friday for two consecutive weeks each month, followed by two weeks off.

What you will do as a Dental Assistant:
- The Dental Assistant will maintain patient information; updates records or forms, health summaries, and medical information electronically or manually as needed.
- The Dental Assistant will provide set-up, breakdown, and cleaning of all dental units as well as proper barrier placement to prevent the spread of infectious diseases.
- Assist dentists and hygienists during dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments and equipment.
- Uphold infection control protocols and maintain a clean and organized dental environment.
To be successful as a Dental Assistant, you'll need:
- A High school diploma or equivalent
- Formal education in Dental Assisting or at least 5 years of professional Dental Assistant experience.
- Proficiency in dental terminology, procedures, and instrumentation.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- To commit to providing exceptional patient care and fostering a positive patient experience.
- The ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented setting.
- Knowledge of dental software systems (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft) is a plus.
- To be able to provide chairside assistance and anticipate the needs of dental provider
- Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time and lift up to 10 pounds.
