**Entertainment Operations Manager (Production) Role Summary:**
This role oversees the long-term planning, logistics, execution, and operation of entertainment and event offerings for various businesses within Turning Stone Enterprises. The Entertainment Operations Manager leads a team responsible for elements of event and show production, including conception, planning, execution, and safe operation for all shows, events, and experiences.
The Entertainment Operations Manager works under the leadership of the Director of Entertainment & Events to support diverse experiential offerings across Turning Stone Enterprises' portfolio of brands.
Responsibilities:
- Manage team members in designated areas for conception, planning, execution, and safe operation for all shows, events, and experiences.
- Oversee logistics, resources, and execution of operational plans that support live shows and events, working across multiple departments and with third-party vendors.
- Ensure delivery of entertainment technical riders and meet mutually-agreed-upon requirements.
- Direct entertainment & event technical operations staff, including third-party labor solutions.
- Lead annual development of operating budgets, operating within those budgets to include labor, supplies, equipment, and maintenance.
- Operate efficiently and effectively with a critical eye toward quality and elevating the guest experience.
Requirements:
- A college degree or equivalent experience in technical theater, stage management, event planning, concert & show production, or a related field.
- Analytical skills to analyze data, critically solve problems, manage communications across various levels of leadership, and demonstrate accountability on par with a seasoned entertainment & event leader.
- Knowledge and thorough understanding of stage operations, including rigging, audio, lighting, video, forklifts, high-reach equipment, and scissor lifts, and ability to ensure a robust team member training and onboarding program.
- Demonstrated experience commensurate with increasing responsibilities, including managing large budgets, leading teams exceeding 100 employees, planning and executing live shows, exhibitions, and large-scale events across multiple venues.
