Your day-today as a Lodge Housekeeping Dispatcher will entail:
- Promptly answering phone calls and transferring personnel to appropriate departments.
- Posting and delivering calls and messages for guests.
- Keeping the Assistant Executive Housekeeper/Supervisor up-to-date regarding current issues and appropriately recording all room inventory issues.
- Effectively coordinating front desk room requirements with Housekeeping leadership on a regular basis
To be successful as a Lodge Housekeeping Dispatcher you'll need:
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Prior computer experience required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
- Previous hotel experience
- The ability to type 30 words per minute
- To possess excellent communication skills when communicating with both guests and co-workers.
