What you will do as a Maintenance Technician:
- Performing daily maintenance and troubleshooting, including plumbing repairs
- Handling light carpentry, painting, and minor electrical tasks for remodeling projects
- Conducting quarterly assessments of equipment and facilities to identify maintenance needs
- Using hand tools, electric tools, ladders, and miscellaneous power equipment safely and effectively as directed
To be successful as a Maintenance Technician, you'll need:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent
- Three to Five years of experience in roofing/heights/roof draining for commercial building maintenance
- To possess a valid New York State Driver's license, with no restrictions
- TO be able to work independently with little to no supervision
- The ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
- The ability to work with ladders and lifts
- The ability to stand, walk and sit for extended periods of time and lift up to 75 pounds.
