Starting Pay Range: $26.00 - $35.00/hr

No Flat Rate

An Automotive Tech 3 is an expert technician who tackles complex vehicle repairs, uses advanced diagnostic tools, and mentors junior techs. It's a fast-paced role for those who love problem-solving and working with cars!

What you will do as a Automotive Technician lll:

• Diagnose and repair vehicle heating and air conditioning systems, electrical systems, and engine cooling systems.
• Maintaining service records and recommending vehicle parts for preventative maintenance.
• Inspect vehicles thoroughly and repairs or replaces broken or worn components.

Work Experience

To be successful as a Automotive Technician lll, you'll need:

• 10 to 15 years of experience maintaining cars, trucks, light and heavy-duty trucks.
• Must have advanced working knowledge of brakes, steering and suspension, tires, engine diagnostics, alignments, engine, and transmission repairs.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.

Experience:

• Brake repair: 5 years (Preferred)
• Automotive Mechanic: 10 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• NYS Motor Vehicle Inspectors License (Required)
