Surveillance Technical Specialist

Starting Pay Rate: $24.00/hr

*Shift: Monday through Friday 8 AM – 4:30 PM/On Call on Weekends*

As a Surveillance Technical Specialist, you'll oversee surveillance and electronic equipment, including maintenance, operations, and repairs, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently.

Your day to day as a Surveillance Technical Specialist:

• Maintaining all surveillance/electronic equipment (i.e. recorders, cameras, workstations, etc.) related to the Oneida Indian Nation Gaming Commission Surveillance operation.
• Perform wire pulls, camera installation, camera cleaning, and camera firmware updates, as well as terminate cat 6 male and female ends.
• Provide technical support and training on equipment to operators and inspectors.

To be successful as a Surveillance Technical Specialist, you’ll need:

• An Associate’s Degree in Electronics, OR an equivalent trade school certification, OR an equivalent military certification/training, OR 3 to 5 years of relatable experience.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical/schematic and flow diagrams.
• Ability to use hand tools and specialty electronic tools for repair and installation of equipment.
• A valid NYS Driver’s License. Some travel will be required; must be able to work at any Oneida Indian Nation subsidiary property.
• Must be able to stand/walk for long periods of time and lift up to 11-20 pounds.
