Turning The Corner Residential Program

Turning The Corner Residential Program is seeking a dedicated and experienced full-time Care Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the youth residential care field as well as office management expertise.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure all residents' files are maintained and inspection-ready at all times.

  • Oversee and coordinate all aspects of residents' treatment plans, ensuring their timely implementation and advocacy as needed.

  • Manage internal and external communications to ensure all parties are informed promptly and accurately.

  • Schedule, log, and communicate appointments, meetings, and other necessary information to staff, residents, and external providers.

  • Build collaborative relationships with DCYF, Probation, and other care providers to support residents effectively

Qualifications

  • Proven experience working with youth in residential programs.

  • Familiarity with working alongside DCYF, Probation, and other care services.

  • Strong organizational and office management skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Job Responsibilities and Scope
The Care Manager's duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

Administrative Responsibilities

Process all intake paperwork promptly and accurately.

  • Participate in administrative team meetings as needed.

*

  • Gather required documentation for new residents from referring agencies, including psychiatric evaluations, immunization records, social histories, case plans, medical records, IEPs, grades, birth certificates, social security cards, prescriptions, and other necessary documents.

*

  • Register new clients with the local school department within 24 hours of admission or schedule GED classes for residents who have legally withdrawn from school.

*

  • Assign a Primary Care Physician within 24 hours of intake and notify the insurance company of the new address. Schedule medical, dental, and eye appointments for new clients within 15 days of admission.

*

  • Enroll residents in Life Skills Classes and Teen Challenge grants.

*

  • Ensure timely transportation for residents to medical, court, and educational appointments.

*

  • Maintain weekly records of all client appointments and passes.

*

  • Update the daily census to include client placement

*

  • Regularly review and update each resident's binder.

*

Office Management

  • Perform general office tasks, including answering phone calls, managing voicemail, and purchasing office supplies.

*

  • Utilize Microsoft Office tools and maintain proficiency in data management and collection.

*

Direct Care Support

  • Provide direct care services to residents as needed.

Other Duties

  • Perform all reasonable tasks assigned by the Program Director.

Preferred Candidate Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of office management experience.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data management tools.

*

  • Strong organizational skills and self-motivation.

*

  • Flexibility in schedule availability.

*

  • A valid driver’s license and the ability to pass all required background checks.

Pay: $45,760.00 per year
