Business Development, Estimator – Commercial and Industrial Construction

Please Note: This is an onsite position based at our office in Windsor, CO. Candidates must be local or willing to commute.

What You’ll Do

Estimate & Win Work:

• Lead estimating efforts for commercial and industrial construction projects, including ground-up and tenant improvements
  
  

• Perform detailed takeoffs, bid qualifications, company qualification packages, and pricing proposals
  
  

• Submit timely, complete, and competitive bids with a high award rate
  
  

• Participate in design-build and pre-bid meetings, site walks, and permitting discussions
  
  

• Identify value engineering opportunities that enhance bid competitiveness
  
  

Drive Business Growth:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, architects, trade partners, and local agencies
  
  

• Seek out and evaluate new bidding opportunities aligned with our core strengths
  
  

• Represent the company professionally in all client-facing activities
  
  

• Collaborate with leadership to develop estimating databases and systems for future growth
  
  

Support Project Success:

• Coordinate with project managers for seamless handoff and execution
  
  

• Attend regular internal meetings to align bid strategy with field execution
  
  

• Help maintain and expand our trade partner network
  
  

Who You Are

You Have:

• 7–10 years of experience in commercial construction estimating (tenant improvement, ground-up, industrial, pre-engineered metal buildings)
  
  

• Proven track record of awarded bids and successful project handoffs
  
  

• Knowledge of municipal bidding processes, IBC codes, and zoning regulations
  
  

• Strong computer skills (Planswift, Bluebeam, Outlook, RedTeam or similar)
  
  

• Field knowledge or the confidence to ask questions when clarity is needed
