Position Summary:
The Client Analytics Analyst will be supporting the Analytics team with research and development of new product reporting and analytics, assisting with data migration activities/quality assurance, building new analytics and/or modifying existing analytics, troubleshooting & addressing data/coding problems, and general assistance of projects as needed.
Responsibilities:
  • Partner with internal stakeholders with research and analytics to develop new analytics standards for analytics team for any new company initiatives
  • Work closely with IT partners on data quality and architecture to ensure data integrity and optimal structure.
  • Research, analyze and make recommendations on administrative, management and procedural practices and other complex business problems
  • Lead and manage data validation opportunities to identify and solve issues
  • Research and prepare statistical analytics & reports using data from multiple sources: operational, claims and eligibility; Consolidates information into cohesive and understandable correspondence or other written form for use in management decision-making
  • Analyze, evaluate and integrate business processes and procedures
  • Demonstrate subject matter expertise in the functions and activities of the analytics department and other assigned work units, including applicable laws, rules, regulations, procedures and technical ops
  • Ad hoc analytics and reporting duties to meet the needs of company resources and external customers
What we are looking for:
  • Experience working with SQL databases and coding
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook etc.).
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, excellent analytical skills, and a natural curiosity and desire to know why.
  • Precise attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Effective communication skills, both orally and in writing using language understandable to management and employees
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Education, Experience and Licensure:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Analytics, Math/Statistics, or other related quantitative fields.
  • Experience as a business/ data analyst, or any other health insurance/ healthcare related environment.
Preferred Skills:
  • Knowledge of healthcare data (claims, medical coding, providers, member eligibility, value-based reimbursement etc.) to analyze opportunities and solve issues
  • Proficient in visualization tools such as Power BI, SSRS Reports, Tableau, etc.
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and/or Databricks
  • Experience in statistical software such as R or Python.
