We are currently seeking a construction engineer who can oversee water and wastewater projects under construction. We are looking for candidates with at least 4 years of experience in the construction within the water resources industry. The right candidate will enjoy a mix of managing on-site inspectors, developing construction cost estimates, reviewing shop drawings, and addressing contractor RFI's.
The job will include overseeing some combination of water line, sewer line, lift station, booster pump station, wastewater treatment plant, water treatment plant construction projects on behalf of us, the engineering company.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
a. Grading and excavation
b. Installation of pipe and other utilities
c. Installation of mechanical equipment
d. Erosion and sediment control, stormwater monitoring, and grassing
e. Asphalt paving
f. Concrete forming, placement, and finishing and rebar placement.
g. Masonry, carpentry, roofing, painting and other building techniques.
h. Electrical and instrumentation systems

We specialize in the design of water and wastewater treatment systems for small and medium size municipalities, counties and authorities throughout Georgia and South Carolina.
At present the firm employs a staff of more than 45, including professional engineers, designers, drafters, surveyors, inspectors, technical assistants and support staff.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
