We are currently seeking a construction inspector who can oversee water and wastewater projects under construction. We are looking for candidates with at least 4 years of experience in construction within the water resources industry. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to be home most nights.
The job will include overseeing some combination of water line, sewer line, lift station, booster pump station, wastewater treatment plant, water treatment plant construction projects on behalf of us, the engineering company.
Requirements
1. Must have a valid driver's license with a good driving history.
2. Walking on irregular ground or elevated surfaces.
3. Occasional lifting of weights up to 50 pounds.
4. Exposure to heat, cold, dust, and varying weather conditions.
5. Climbing to access elevated structures and water towers.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
a. Grading and excavation
b. Installation of pipe and other utilities
c. Installation of mechanical equipment
d. Erosion and sediment control, stormwater monitoring, and grassing
e. Asphalt paving
f. Concrete forming, placement, and finishing and rebar placement.
g. Masonry, carpentry, roofing, painting and other building techniques.
h. Electrical and instrumentation systems

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
