What are the responsibilities and job description for the Residential Maintenance Technician position at TurnKey Real Estate Inc?
We are looking for an ambitious candidate in the Dayton and Cincinnati Areas to fill our Residential Maintenance Technician Position. Our candidate must provide service, quality, and reliability for all areas relating to plumbing, drywall repair, and general maintenance. This position addresses deadlines across a multitude of assigned services on a daily basis.
Benefits: PTO, Paid Holidays, Healthcare/voluntary coverages, 401(k)
$19 - $22 hourly
Responsibilities:- Assure all tools, equipment, and vehicles are well-maintained, and arrange for routine maintenance as needed
- Basic plumbing, such as faucet and toilet repairs
- Basic Drywall Repairs
- Basic repairs, such as repairing trim, attaching and cleaning gutters
- Install replacement locks on residential homes
- Performs work duties in a variety of environmental conditions, including but not limited to the following: Hot, cold, outdoor, indoor, dry, humid, slippery surfaces, heights, and possibly congested areas
- Basic Electric - Installation of light fixtures, repair/replacement of switches, and sockets
- Follow through and follow up on all work orders assigned to you.
- The minimum age requirement is 21 years, with a clean driving record for insurance
- Candidate must have general maintenance experience
- The candidate must have a working knowledge of plumbing and basic carpentry skills
- Must be willing to work with and assist co-workers as needed, in addition to working evening and weekend hours
- Ability to continually climb (ladders), balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
- Possess the tools necessary to complete repairs and installations
- Valid Driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Teamwork and excellent communication, interpersonal skills, prioritize, multitask, take initiative, and be accountable
