TurnPoint Search is partnering with a global asset manager to hire a Head of Benefits to lead their US and Canada benefits strategy, design, and execution. This role will ensure benefits programs are competitive and aligned with the company’s values, enhancing employee well-being and experience.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and drive the company’s US benefits strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives, industry best practices, and evolving workforce needs.
- Manage the design, implementation, and administration of health, retirement, wellness, and leave programs across multiple geographies.
- Lead relationships with benefits providers, brokers, and consultants to negotiate contracts and optimize service delivery.
- Ensure all benefits programs comply with federal, state, and international regulations (e.g., ERISA, ACA, FMLA, HIPAA).
- Act as the first point of contact for employee benefits questions.
- Enhance benefits communications and education to improve employee understanding and utilization of offerings.
- Leverage data to assess program effectiveness, monitor trends, and drive continuous improvements.
- Partner with HR, Finance, and Legal teams to support broader people initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 10 years of experience in benefits or total rewards, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Deep expertise in US and CAN benefits.
- Strong analytical and financial acumen to assess plan performance and manage budgets.
- Experience working with benefits technology platforms and HRIS systems.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Position pays a base salary range of $150,000 - $275,000 per year, commensurate with experience and skill level. There is also the potential for a discretionary bonus.
