Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, write, and implement cybersecurity policies, standards, and best practices.
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security incidents and threats.
- Conduct risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company security frameworks.
- Collaborate with IT and leadership to enhance security awareness and best practices.
- Maintain documentation of security controls, processes, and incident reports.
Requirements:
- 3 years of experience in cybersecurity, IT security, or a related field.
- Proven experience in writing and implementing security policies.
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Must be dedicated to the role—not currently holding multiple jobs.
- Ability to work independently in a remote capacity while staying connected to the corporate team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, Security , or equivalent.
- Experience with security tools, SIEM, vulnerability management, and risk assessments.
- Familiarity with compliance standards (NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2, etc.).
