Our healthcare team offers an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to make a difference in the lives of our patients and their mental health. We seek a Licensed Clinician with experience setting up and leading IOP groups with a friendly demeanor and strong analytical abilities. As a behavioral therapist, you will be responsible for delivering all therapist services such as completing assessments, guiding groups, treatment and discharge planning, and patient care documentation.
Requirements
1. Assessment and Treatment Planning : Therapists assess clients' mental health needs,
develop treatment plans, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure
comprehensive care.
2. Crisis Intervention : Respond to and manage crises that may arise during therapy
sessions or in the community, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients.
3. Documentation : Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, including progress
notes, treatment plans, and any other required documentation.
4. Collaboration : Work closely with other mental health professionals, such as
psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and case managers, to coordinate care and
provide a holistic approach to treatment.
5. Education and Support : Educate clients about mental health, coping mechanisms, and
strategies for maintaining mental well-being. Offer support and encouragement.

Qualifications :
1. Education : A degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field is
required.
2. Licensing : Must be licensed or pursuing clinical supervised hours as a mental health professional in UT (Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, LMHC).
3. Experience : Previous experience in mental health counseling, especially in an intensive
outpatient setting is preferred.
4. Skills : Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills are essential.
The ability to work effectively with diverse populations is also important.
5. Empathy and Compassion : Given the nature of the work, a high level of empathy and
compassion is crucial to connect with clients and provide effective therapeutic support.
