We are a high-end mental health clinic with office location in Iowa with locations in both Ames and West Des Moines . We provide face-to-face and telepsychiatry services at the clinics and to patients in multiple other organizations, rehabilitation centers, and detox facilities throughout Arizona. We seek enthusiastic, high-energy, motivated Medical Assistant (part time) to join our team. Interested candidates must have experience, and be dependable, punctual, and able to communicate professionally. Requirements : Duties :
- Create a positive, relaxing, welcoming, and professional atmosphere for patients.
- Communicate, effectively, and succinctly with patients and providers.
- Answer phone calls, take and transmit messages; monitor and respond to voice and email.
- Assist patients with check-in and check-out.
- Assist with intake and screening of new patients.
- Complete various types of paperwork for patients or insurance
- Accurately document and maintain medical records.
- Maintain clean, neat, and orderly front office and waiting room.
- Ability to multi-task and manage time independently and in a team setting.
- Schedule appointments and maintain provider schedules.
- Collect patient payments, deductibles, and patient balances.
- Ensure company policies of financial agreements are met.
- Knowledge of general office equipment
- Data entry of charges and payments
- Maintain confidentiality and apply strict standards of privacy and HIPAA compliance.
- Other duties as needed to promote high-quality environment and patient care.
