About Edinburg and the Rio Grande Valley :
Known for its mild winter weather, tropical breezes, brightly colored birds, and low cost of living, the McAllen / Edinburg area is one of the fastest-growing cities in America.
Edinburg is located in the Rio Grande Valley (The Valley) of South Texas, a multicultural and largely bilingual community with a population of more than 1.4 million. The Valley offers an abundance of wildlife and outdoor activities, including world-class bird watching, great golf courses, and several National Parks to explore. Additionally, the Valley is a magnet for an elderly Northern American population who want to spend their winters in an affordable and tropical environment.
These qualities, along with the area's relaxed pace of life, safe neighborhoods, and welcoming communal environment, make the region a wonderful place to live and raise a family. And Texas has no state income tax!
