Summary:
Turpin Tire Center is a provider of automotive services in Weatherford, Texas. We provide quality tire services, wheel alignment, and brake services. We are seeking an experienced Brake and Alignment Technician (3 years of experience) responsible for performing wheel alignments and brake work on a variety of vehicles.
Candidates must be experienced in wheel alignment, brake service, and steering and suspension repair. Candidates must own and provide their own tools. Hunter Engineering alignment training would be helpful.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform accurate and efficient wheel alignments to ensure vehicle safety and optimal performance.
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair brake systems and related components.
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicle suspension and steering systems to diagnose issues and recommend necessary repairs.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding issues, service recommendations, and maintenance tips.
- Maintain equipment and tools, ensuring they are in proper working condition.
- Accurately document services performed, parts used, and any additional observations or recommendations.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an alignment specialist or in a related automotive role is required. Certification in wheel alignment is a plus.
- Proficiency in operating alignment equipment and brake service tools.
- Strong understanding of vehicle suspension, steering, and brake systems.
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 100 lbs).
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment.
- Ability to work weekends.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
