Location Description:

Overview:
The Salesforce Manager will be a vital team member of the Marketing team, leading efforts to define, create, and implement marketing and service strategies within the Salesforce platform. This person will work closely with the Director of Marketing and Chief Commercial Officer, responsible for managing customer engagement across the complete journey: marketing, sales, commerce, and service. The Salesforce Manager will work collaboratively with internal and external partners to leverage technology tools and deliver personalized customer engagement at scale on every channel, from email to web, mobile, and on-site interactions. The ideal candidate is both creative and analytically minded – an expert at crafting compelling campaigns and analyzing customer data.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Salesforce Admin: Serve as a platform specialist for Salesforce and ensure the company is using the platforms to its fullest potential. Complete training through Trailhead and leverage available resources to personalize the platforms to meet business needs. Follow industry trends to share best practices and new technologies for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Platform Configuration and Maintenance: Collaborate closely with our implementation partner to set up and configure the Data Cloud platform. Lead efforts to identify and implement use cases that enhance our ability to deliver personalized marketing communications and elevate on-site guest experiences. Ensure the successful integration of Data Cloud with existing systems and tools. Act as the point of contact for troubleshooting and issue resolution related to Data Cloud platform setup and use.
  • Campaign Management & Execution: Design and implement successful marketing campaigns, utilizing the platform’s features and tools to create engaging email marketing campaigns, personalized website journeys, and mobile messaging. These tasks entail the creation of segments based on customer characteristics, the design of tailored content, the scheduling of campaigns, and the analysis of their effectiveness.
  • Data Management: Manage data within the Salesforce platform. Oversee data imports and exports, perform data cleansing and deduplication, and ensure data integrity and quality. Closely collaborate with various business systems and applications to ensure the seamless integration of data, facilitating a comprehensive understanding of customer interactions and behaviors.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Leverage the platform’s analytics capabilities to monitor campaign performance, track key metrics, and generate reports to provide insights into marketing efforts. Utilize insights to identify areas for improvement, optimize campaigns, and make data-driven decisions that drive marketing success.
  • Training and Support: Serve as subject matter expert and provide training and support to marketing and service teams, enabling them to effectively utilize the Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Service platforms. Educate users on best practices, conduct workshops, and offer guidance on platform updates.
Qualifications:
  • 2-5 years’ work experience in a digital marketing function.
  • Hands-on work experience with Marketing Automation Platforms, such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Marketo, is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in managing and implementing digital marketing strategies.
  • Strong understanding of web analytics, email marketing, and other digital marketing channels.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to derive insights from first-party data and utilize them to drive marketing decisions.
  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, set goals, and meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and leadership.
  • Creative thinking and a passion for innovation in digital marketing.
  • Salesforce certifications, such as Salesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Consultant, are a plus.
