Tasting Room Manager
Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Tasting Room Manager to lead our team in delivering exceptional customer experiences in our tasting room. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the food and hospitality industry, with a focus on customer service, exceptional wine knowledge, and casual dining experience. This role requires excellent leadership skills, a keen understanding of TABC seller/server expectations and food handling practices, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the tasting room, ensuring high standards of service and cleanliness.
- Train, supervise, and motivate staff to provide outstanding customer service.
- Develop and implement tasting room programs and events that enhance guest experiences.
- Manage inventory levels and coordinate with wine reps and suppliers for food preparation and service needs in conjunction with Kitchen Manager.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling procedures.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to promote events and increase guest attendance.
- Address customer inquiries, feedback, and concerns promptly to maintain satisfaction.
- Maintain a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a managerial role within the winery, food service, or hospitality industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of wine and food handling best practices.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating memorable experiences for guests.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with staff and customers.
- A passion for fine wine and culinary experiences for customers.

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 42 per week
