As the Lead UI Engineer, you will spearhead the design and implementation of intuitive UI systems for our video games, ranging from front-end menus to matchmaking and in-game HUDs. Working closely with our talented UI / UX team, you will iterate on designs, refine functionality based on playtest feedback, and ensure our games offer seamless user experiences. This role combines technical expertise with leadership, requiring a strong sense of design and the ability to inspire and guide your team.
Responsibilities
- Leadership & Team Management : Lead, mentor, and manage a team of UI engineers, fostering growth and collaboration.
- System Architecture : Design and architect scalable and efficient UI systems.
- Integration & Support : Assist UI artists in integrating art assets and data into user interfaces.
- Localization : Address various localization requirements, including in-game text, fonts, textures, and voiceover integration.
- Optimization : Profile and tune UI systems to achieve optimal performance.
- Feedback & Growth : Conduct 1-on-1 reviews, provide both personal and technical feedback, and help team members level up their skills.

The estimated base pay range for this role is :
140,000 - $190,000
Salary : $140,000 - $190,000
