We are seeking a skilled Automotive Glass Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of automotive glass components. Responsibilities
- Perform glass installation and replacement on various vehicles, ensuring precision and adherence to safety protocols.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete installations and repairs.
- Conduct thorough vehicle maintenance checks related to glass components, identifying any potential issues.
- Assemble and disassemble vehicle parts as needed to facilitate glass installation.
- Collaborate with team members to estimate costs for auto glass repairs and replacements accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools are properly stored after use.
- Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies, including Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), to ensure proper installation techniques are applied.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in glass installation or automotive repair is preferred.
- Strong mechanical skills with the ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Familiarity with ADAS technology is a plus but not required.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to perform under pressure.
- Valid driver’s license is required for this position.
