Job Summary:
We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of legal and/or financial terms and experience using Microsoft Word and Excel. This position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse range of tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Manage attorney calendars, including inputting hearing dates, meeting times, and other appointments
- Maintain accurate time and billing records for attorneys
- Draft emails, notices, publications, pleadings, and other documents
- File pleadings and other documents with various Court websites
- Keep organized files of documents, pleadings, and other records
- Dictating attorneys' recorded files
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality
Experience:
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and other Microsoft suite products
- Experience using Cosmolex, QuickBooks, or similar billing software
- Experience using Alafile and Pacer
- Experience working with dictation devices and software
- Strong grasp of spelling and grammar
