Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pizza Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. As a Pizza Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality pizzas, ensuring that all ingredients are fresh and properly handled, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. This role requires attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and customer specifications.
• Ensure all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and handled in compliance with food safety standards.
• Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, and slicers safely and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including cooking surfaces, equipment, and utensils.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours.
• Assist with inventory management by tracking ingredient usage and notifying management of low stock levels.
• Engage with customers when necessary to ensure satisfaction with their orders.

Experience

• Previous experience in a grocery store or kitchen environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with quick service fast food restaurant operations is advantageous.
• Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and managing portion sizes are essential.
• Experience using POS systems, including Aloha POS or similar platforms, is a plus.
• Background in the food industry or café setting is beneficial.
• Retail math knowledge can enhance efficiency in managing orders and inventory.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.50 - $19.50 per hour

Expected hours: 22 – 26 per week
